So Alephnull and I went and took part in KQA's XVIII Anniversary Quiz. On our way to lunch , outside Guru Nanak Bhavan we saw this very cool Ambassador.
With very cool interiors.
btw, we got rather badly mauled in the prelims.
Met Beedi and his brand-new missus with some janta at KC Das the day before they flew back to Philly. Photograph of sleeping dogs outside the window.
Superbikes on trucks. Being transported to Jakkur for a drag, apparently.
The blue one on the left is a Kawasaki Ninja and the red and black one next to it is a CBR. Couldn't identify the other ones. Not conspicuous enough lettering :-)

There has to be something incongruous about these big bad bikes being transported so daintily and carefully only to burn rubber later on...
I’ve always wanted an ambassador. And the new model is just awesome. But it’s bloody expensive… 4.5 lakhs, I think.
The one in your picture is adorably retro!
The Ambassadors are made-to-order anyhow. The HM factories are Tier II auoto suppliers. They make engines for Ford, for example.

It's not that bad is it? They have a waffles and pancake weekend breakfast that I've been meaning to try. But the real gem is the Mallu Mess above it. Outstanding beef biriyani for Rs. 30 wonly.

Anyway, the Mallu Mess is quite brilliant.
