Gratitude

It's a sad day. It truly is.

Power can be intoxicating. Money more so. Like he said, all he now has is his legacy.

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all convictions, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Is this william blake? I remember this piece being used in the intro of the book "things fall apart" by chinua achebe. And that was the cheapest book you could buy in bangalore.

Nope. It's William Butler Yeats in "The Second Coming".
